Support — Custom Shop for Tesla
Custom Shop is built by one developer, and support comes from him directly. Email info@suttlesolution.com with what you tried, what you expected, and a screenshot if there is one. Replies within 24 hours, usually sooner.
Getting files onto the car
- Use the glovebox USB port. On newer Model Y builds the centre-console ports charge only and don't carry data.
- Format the drive exFAT or FAT32. The app's Drive tab checks a drive and says exactly what's wrong before the car's own screen just says "invalid".
- "This drive is not accepting writes." The drive itself refused the write, which is almost always the drive, not the phone. Try a different USB drive; cheap and very old drives are the usual cause.
- Picking the folder. In the Files picker you can choose the drive or the
LightShowfolder on it. Either works; the app never makes a second folder inside the first. - Wraps without a drive. From version 4.59.0 of the Tesla app you can upload a wrap under Creations › Wrap › Upload. Save the PNG from Custom Shop to Photos or Files first.
Subscriptions and purchases
- Restore. Already bought Pro on this Apple Account? In the app, More › About › Restore Purchases. No account needed.
- Cancel or change a subscription. iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Custom Shop. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Common questions
- The Cluster says location is off. iOS Settings › Custom Shop › Location › While Using the App. The Cluster reads speed from the phone's GPS.
- Wrong car. More › About › Your Tesla switches it.
- The 0–60 and quarter-mile timers are for a track or other closed course. On public roads, obey the speed limit and keep your eyes on the road.
- Your data. See the privacy policy: no accounts, no analytics, and your designs sync only through your own iCloud.
